Keep on Dreaming
For over twenty years the public space in The Netherlands is enriched with the impressive images of Hans van Bentem (1965). Like no other artist, he is able to excite our imagination with his sculptures in ceramics, glass and other materials. This publication is the first to pay its dues to the rich oeuvre that Van Bentem has created over the last two decades. The reason for this monograph is the invitation Van Bentem received to exhibit his work in the unique period rooms in the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. This catalogue takes the audience to the colourful and sometimes surrealistic dreamworlds in which Hans van Bentem creates his art, and this wonderful world he is more than willing to share...
