It is March 2020 and the Netherlands is preparing for spring. But even before the season starts, something happens that no one ever anticipated. The whole world is being attacked by a – at that time – unknown virus. Daily life is completely disrupted by the corona virus and work comes to an abrupt halt for almost everybody. The same goes for photographer Bertil van Wieren. He soon realizes that, as a photographer, he has to capture this special period in time. That is why he decides to go out with his camera and photograph the consequences of the COVID-19 virus for his fellow townsmen in Hardenberg.
